The Doust family, taken in 1912

As you will notice there is no father present. That is because James Albert Doust drowned when his fishing smack "Naomi Lizzie" was run over be a freighter in 1912. My, grandfather, James being the oldest at 13, was left to be the bread winner. From left to right you have Wilfred Doust, James Doust, mother Elizabeth and Jack Doust (the harbour master). In front we have Alice Doust, Lillian Doust and George Doust on knee.
